A Resemblance of Weather is a video piece that is controlled by weather data. Disposable consumer goods, such as bags, cups and take away boxes take on a new purpose as they connect with current weather patterns of the selected location, as well as the historic data from ten years previous. Audience members can choose the location of the weather data that is retrieved. A goal of the work is to discuss our relationship with these particular objects and how do they relate to organic structures. But I also want viewers to consider our metaphysical and physical connection with weather and place.
